Jito BAM Node Now Live in Lithuania with Cherry Servers
Cherry Servers is proud to support the latest expansion of Jito’s Block-Assembly-Marketplace (BAM) infrastructure with a new node deployment in Šiauliai, Lithuania.
This marks Jito’s first BAM node deployment on Cherry Servers infrastructure, combining Jito’s expansion with high-performance bare metal in a new region.

#What is Jito and BAM?
Jito is a leading Solana infrastructure provider focused on improving validator performance and enabling MEV optimization.
BAM (Block-Engine) is Jito’s transaction processing layer that helps validators receive, order, and process transactions more efficiently, improving latency, performance, and rewards.
#Cherry Servers’ Role in the Jito BAM Network
Running high-performance blockchain infrastructure like Jito’s BAM nodes requires more than just server availability. It depends on consistent low latency, reliable networking, and predictable hardware performance.
Acting as the performance layer beneath the performance layer, Cherry Servers provides the physical infrastructure that allows systems like BAM to operate efficiently at scale.
By hosting BAM nodes in new regions like Šiauliai, Cherry Servers helps extend Jito’s infrastructure footprint, improving resilience, latency distribution, and validator connectivity across the network.
For Solana validators and RPC providers in our Lithuania data center, the proximity to the new Šiauliai BAM node has reduced latency to Jito from ~30ms to under a millisecond, improving transaction delivery speed and overall network responsiveness.
#Strengthening Network Decentralization
The new Šiauliai node represents an important step toward greater geographic and data center decentralization for Jito’s BAM network.
By expanding into new regions, validators gain:
- Improved network resilience;
- Reduced latency variability;
- More distributed infrastructure across data centers.
For blockchain networks like Solana, infrastructure diversity isn’t just beneficial but critical.
#Built for High-Performance Validators
Jito’s BAM is designed for low-latency, high-throughput environments, making infrastructure quality a key factor. Cherry Servers provides:
- Dedicated bare metal (no shared resources)
- High-performance NVMe storage
- Low-latency network connectivity
- Full control over hardware and configuration
- Setups for Solana validators and RPC providers
- Custom bare metal servers
This makes it an ideal foundation for validators and performance-sensitive workloads.

#Quick Setup Guide for Validators
For validators already running the Jito-Solana client, connecting to the new Šiauliai BAM node is straightforward and does not require a restart.
→ Just follow step 5 on the BAM Validator Quick Start Guide using the Šiauliai URL to connect.
Instead of reconfiguring your validator from scratch, you can update the BAM endpoint dynamically using the agave-validator CLI:
agave-validator --ledger /path/to/ledger set-bam-config --bam-url http://siauliai.mainnet.bam.jito.wtf
This change takes effect immediately, allowing you to switch to a lower-latency BAM node without downtime.
For new validator setups, a full configuration (including --bam-url, --block-engine-url, and --shred-receiver-address) is still required.
→ Here you can find the full setup guide.
#Supporting the Future of Web3 Infrastructure
This deployment highlights a broader trend with Web3 infrastructure moving toward more distributed, performance-focused environments.
At Cherry Servers, we’re committed to supporting infrastructure that prioritizes performance, reliability, and control for:
- Validators
- RPC providers
- Web3 builders
