AMD EPYC 5th Gen Servers Now Available at Cherry Servers
Published on Aug 8, 2025 Updated on Jul 3, 2026

We’re excited to announce that AMD’s latest 5th-generation CPUs have arrived at Cherry Servers, bringing a boost in performance and efficiency to our bare metal lineup.

These processors now live in select locations and will roll out to even more of our international data centers in the coming weeks, starting a broader rollout of Gen5 hardware across our global regions.

The AMD EPYC 5th Gen processors are purpose-built to accelerate data center, cloud, AI, and enterprise workloads. They are designed to deliver the raw power and performance that modern workloads demand. The AMD Ryzen 9000 series are perfect for game development, multitasking, and streaming workloads.

#What’s New?

We’ve added five new AMD Gen 5 processors to our platform:

  • AMD EPYC 9375F, AMD EPYC 9255, AMD EPYC 9355

Part of the EPYC 9005 series, these CPUs use Zen 5 cores built on a 4 nm process and the SP5 socket. They’re designed for compute-intensive, mission-critical workloads requiring consistent and superior performance.

The AMD EPYC 5th Gen machines are designed for high-throughput, compute-intensive workloads such as virtualization, AI/ML training, and blockchain node hosting—perfect for developers who demand raw power and low-level control.

  • AMD Ryzen 9900X & AMD Ryzen 9950X

From the Ryzen 9000 series, these CPUs are also powered by Zen 5 architecture. Strong single-threaded performance makes them perfect for latency-sensitive workloads, game servers, and developer environments.

Powerful AMD Dedicated Servers

Deploy AMD-based bare metal servers with high-core processors, fast memory, and reliable storage. Perfect for compute-heavy workloads and instant setup.

#Why It Matters

These latest-generation processors deliver higher performance, better energy efficiency, and stronger scalability for various workloads — from AI training to blockchain validation to high-traffic applications.

As always, our goal is to ensure consistently high performance and low latency for your workloads, no matter where you’re building.

As part of this launch, we’ve also released a pre-configured Solana Server GEN 5, powered by the AMD EPYC 9355 and tuned for high-throughput blockchain workloads. You can read more about it here: Solana Gen 5 Servers in Lithuania.

#Availability

The new AMD EPYC Gen 5 CPUs are available now in Lithuania and Amsterdam data centers, and the new AMD Ryzen hardware is available in Amsterdam, Chicago, and Frankfurt, with additional locations coming soon.

We’ll continue sending updates on the availability to our other international locations, so you can deploy Gen 5 hardware wherever your workloads need to run.

#Ready to try them out?
