Product Update: AMD Threadripper in Frankfurt and Chicago

Product Update: AMD Threadripper in Frankfurt and Chicago
Published on Jul 22, 2025 Updated on Nov 7, 2025

To better meet growing demand across multiple regions, we’ve expanding our AMD Ryzen Threadripper infrastructure to Frankfurt, Germany, and Chicago, USA. These additions follow the earlier deployment of Threadripper servers in our Šiauliai, Lithuania data center.

In Frankfurt, the new AMD Threadripper machines have been deployed and are expected to go live within a week. A similar rack configuration has arrived in Chicago, with availability expected in the coming days. Join the wait list here!

You can now choose between AMD THREADRIPPER PRO 7965WX and 7975WX CPUs — either through pre-built dedicated servers or by creating a custom configuration tailored to your specific workload.

AMD Threadripper PRO processors combine high core and thread counts with PCIe 5.0 support, exceptional memory bandwidth, and boost clocks up to 5.3 GHz, making them ideal for compute-heavy, I/O-intensive tasks like rendering, CI/CD pipelines, and virtualization.

With support for large ECC memory, enterprise-grade reliability, and high VM density, Threadripper offers a compelling balance of performance, scalability, and price-efficiency — bridging the gap between workstation-grade compute and data center infrastructure.

We’ll continue to share updates as these new locations go live. If you’re interested in a custom configuration or early access, reach out to our team.
