Cherry Servers Expands to Tokyo: New Data Center Launching Soon
Published on Mar 31, 2026 Updated on Apr 1, 2026

We’re excited to share that Cherry Servers is expanding to Tokyo, bringing our high-performance infrastructure closer to customers across Asia.

The new location is scheduled to go live at the end of April / beginning of May, marking another step in our ongoing global expansion. You can find more information about our → Network & Locations page.

#Strengthening Our Global Infrastructure

Over the years, Cherry Servers has grown from a local infrastructure provider into a global platform serving customers in over 100 countries. Today, our infrastructure spans key regions, including:

  • Amsterdam
  • Frankfurt
  • Stockholm
  • Chicago
  • Singapore
  • Lithuania

Deploy globally. Perform locally.

Launch your infrastructure in key regions worldwide to reduce latency, improve uptime, and deliver reliable experiences to your users.

With the addition of Tokyo, we’re continuing our mission to bring infrastructure closer to our customers, reducing latency, improving performance, and enabling more reliable deployments worldwide.

#Built for High-Performance Workloads

The Tokyo data center will feature the latest-generation hardware, including the Gen-5 AMD EPYC AMD and AMD Ryzen CPUs, offering higher core density, improved IPC (instructions per cycle), and enhanced memory and I/O performance. This results in faster data processing, lower latency, and better efficiency for performance-sensitive workloads.

This ensures strong performance for demanding workloads such as:

  • Blockchain validator nodes and RPC infrastructure;
  • Data-intensive applications;
  • High-traffic platforms.

As always, the focus is on delivering performance, reliability, and cost efficiency without unnecessary complexity.

#Why Tokyo

Asia continues to be a key region for many of our customers, especially teams running latency-sensitive and globally distributed applications.

By launching in Tokyo, we aim to improve latency for users in Japan and the broader APAC region, support regional scaling strategies, and to provide more flexibility for multi-region deployments.

#What to Expect

Once live, the Tokyo location will offer the same core capabilities Cherry Servers is known for: custom bare metal and flexible virtual servers with transparent pricing and no hidden fees. What’s more, high bandwidth availability, full control, and fast 24/7 technical support from real humans, not bots.

#Looking Ahead

This launch is part of a broader strategy to expand our global footprint and make high-performance infrastructure more accessible without the trade-offs often associated with traditional public cloud providers. We’ll share more details soon as we approach the official launch.
