Supporting NEAR Validators Through Partnership With Meta Pool

Supporting NEAR Validators Through Partnership With Meta Pool
Published on Feb 16, 2026 Updated on Feb 18, 2026

We’re working together with Meta Pool to support the next Node Studio validator cohort on NEAR, making it easier for new validators to get started with reliable infrastructure and predictable costs.

This collaboration is designed to lower the entry barrier for validators, while keeping performance, stability, and decentralization in focus.

Check out our recent livestream, where we answer any outstanding questions regarding joining the program:

#What is Node Studio?

Node Studio is a platform created by Meta Pool that automates the setup and operation of a NEAR validator node with very low technical barriers. Instead of configuring servers and blockchain software yourself, you can set up a validator with a few clicks.

#What this means for validators and stakers

Validators accepted into the Node Studio program can run their NEAR nodes on Cherry Server's bare metal infrastructure, deployed and managed through the Node Studio MetaPool platform.

Instead of handling infrastructure setup on their own, validators get a ready-to-use environment that is close to NEAR network nodes and optimized for validator workloads.

For validators this means:

  • No need to design or manage server setups from scratch;
  • Faster onboarding into the validator program;
  • Stable performance without relying on public cloud defaults.

#How the setup works

Once accepted into the program, validators:

  1. Create an account with Cherry Servers

  2. Connect it to Node Studio using an API key

  3. Select Cherry Servers as their infrastructure provider inside Node Studio

From there, Meta Pool handles deployment and node management. The validator node is launched automatically on a nearby Cherry Servers location, ensuring low latency and stable operation.

Cherry Servers provides and operates the underlying cloud infrastructure, while Meta Pool manages deployment, installation, and node operations while allowing validators to focus on running reliable nodes.

#Why this matters

For stakers and validators, the biggest challenges are often operational rather than technical. Infrastructure complexity, unpredictable performance, and hidden costs can all get in the way.

By combining Node Studio’s validator tooling with Cherry Servers’ infrastructure, the program aims to:

  • Reduce setup friction for new validators;
  • Improve consistency across node deployments;
  • Keep infrastructure costs clear and predictable;
  • Support decentralization by enabling more independent operators.

#Looking ahead

The Node Studio program plans to onboard multiple validators over the coming months. We’re glad to support this effort by providing infrastructure that is transparent, performant, and built for long-running blockchain workloads.

FAQs

What is Meta Pool?

Meta Pool is a multi-chain liquid staking ecosystem that lets you stake your crypto and earn rewards while still using a tradable liquid token that represents your stake. It makes decentralized finance easy and permissionless across networks like NEAR, Ethereum, Solana, and more.

What is Node Studio?

Node Studio is a simple platform by Meta Pool that lets anyone launch and run a blockchain validator node in just a few clicks without needing technical skills or hardware setup. It handles deployment and ongoing operation so users can participate in network validation and earn rewards easily.

How does the Node Studio program work?

Node Studio automates the full process of launching and running a NEAR validator node. It includes the setup and deployment to monitoring and maintenance, so you don’t need technical skills or your own hardware. It’s a simple web-based platform where you connect your wallet, choose options, and deploy a validator in minutes with built-in support and tools.

What is Cherry Servers?

Cherry Servers is a developer-focused cloud infrastructure provider offering high-performance bare metal and virtual servers. It partners with Meta Pool to power the Node Studio validator program on NEAR. Through this collaboration, Cherry Servers provides reliable, low-latency infrastructure while Meta Pool automates deployment and node management, making it easier for validators to launch and run stable NEAR nodes with predictable costs.
