New Direct Connection Between Frankfurt and Stockholm

New Direct Connection Between Frankfurt and Stockholm
Published on Jun 17, 2026 Updated on Jun 18, 2026

We have launched a new direct connection between Cherry Servers Frankfurt and Stockholm Points of Presence (PoPs), further strengthening the company's European network infrastructure.

The new link improves connectivity between two of our most important European locations while increasing network redundancy and resilience across the region.

#Lower Latency Between Key European Locations

By introducing a direct connection between Frankfurt and Stockholm, traffic can now take a more efficient path between the two locations.

The result is lower latency and more predictable network performance for customers operating workloads across Northern and Central Europe.

For applications that depend on fast and reliable connectivity, including blockchain infrastructure, AI platforms, databases, SaaS applications, and real-time systems, every network optimization contributes to a better user experience.

#Building a More Resilient European Network

The new connection is not only about performance. It also improves network resilience by creating additional routing options between locations.

As infrastructure becomes increasingly distributed, network redundancy plays a critical role in maintaining reliability and ensuring services remain available even when individual network paths experience disruption.

The direct Frankfurt–Stockholm connection strengthens Cherry Servers' ability to deliver highly available infrastructure across Europe.

By establishing direct interconnections between key locations, we can:

  • Reduce latency between regions;
  • Improve traffic engineering capabilities;
  • Increase network redundancy;
  • Optimize customer connectivity;
  • Enhance overall platform reliability.

A full-mesh architecture helps ensure workloads can communicate efficiently across locations while benefiting from multiple resilient paths throughout the network.

#Supporting Performance-Sensitive Workloads

Customers running blockchain infrastructure, trading systems, databases, and large-scale SaaS platforms increasingly rely on fast and predictable connectivity between regions.

The new Frankfurt–Stockholm connection helps support these requirements by delivering a stronger foundation for workloads that depend on low latency and high network reliability.

#Continuing Network Investments Across Europe

The Frankfurt–Stockholm connection is one of several recent network investments made by Cherry Servers as part of its broader infrastructure expansion strategy.

As demand for high-performance infrastructure continues to grow, Cherry Servers remains focused on expanding connectivity, increasing resilience, and improving network performance across Europe and beyond.
