Private Network Interconnect (PNI) with Teraswitch in Amsterdam and Frankfurt
Published on Aug 26, 2025 Updated on Nov 7, 2025

We’re excited to announce that Cherry Servers has established a Private Network Interconnect (PNI) with Teraswitch at our Frankfurt and Amsterdam locations, delivering improvements in network performance.

This direct connection allows us to exchange traffic directly — without intermediaries — between our network and Teraswitch, also covering our Šiauliai and Stockholm locations via Amsterdam’s and Frankfurt’s interconnection.

#Direct PNI with Teraswitch in Amsterdam and Frankfurt

Teraswitch is a global network provider specializing in low-latency, highly available connectivity solutions. Their network is built with redundant, over-provisioned capacity, ensuring customers never encounter congestion. Teraswitch connects enterprises directly to major Internet backbones with 100% uptime SLAs.

Teraswitch is also one of the key infrastructure providers for Jito, a leading Solana client and block engine designed to maximize validator rewards and network efficiency. By establishing a direct PNI with Teraswitch, Cherry Servers customers running Jito or Solana validators now benefit from a faster and more stable connection to the Jito ecosystem.

#What This Means for Our Customers

The new interconnect has already delivered measurable improvements in network performance:

⚡ Frankfurt Jito servers ↔ Frankfurt: Latency between Jito servers in Frankfurt and Cherry Servers in Frankfurt is now under 0.25ms.

⚡ Amsterdam ↔ Jito servers: Latency has been reduced to just 0.1ms.

#Why It Matters

By bypassing intermediaries and peering directly with Teraswitch, Cherry Servers customers benefit from:

  • Ultra-low latency → Direct traffic exchange without intermediaries improves response times.

  • Stronger reliability → Built on Teraswitch’s over-engineered, route-optimized backbone with 100% uptime SLA.

  • Better performance → For latency-sensitive applications like Web3, blockchain validators, AI, and high-frequency trading systems.

  • Solana validators → Solana and Jito validators hosted at Cherry Servers Amsterdam and Frankfurt locations now achieve sub-millisecond latency.

#Open cloud infrastructure built for innovators

At Cherry Servers, we provide infrastructure for developers, businesses, and Web3 innovators who need complete control, scalability, and predictable performance. From customizable bare metal servers with the latest AMD EPYC and Ryzen processors to GDPR-compliant data centers in Europe, we provide the foundation for running demanding workloads — whether that’s powering web applications, AI/ML models, e-commerce platforms, or blockchain validators.

This update is part of our ongoing commitment to deliver faster networking, stronger reliability, and enhanced connectivity for all Cherry Servers customers. It’s another step in our mission to provide bare metal infrastructure without compromise — built for modern workloads of every kind.
