Cherry Servers Joins DoubleZero Network to Enhance Blockchain Connectivity

We’re proud to announce that Cherry Servers will join the DoubleZero network as one of its official network contributors, becoming a part of a global high-performance network.
Our EU-based data centers in Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Lithuania, and Stockholm will soon be connected to the DoubleZero network, enabling faster and more resilient communication for blockchain workloads.
#What is the DoubleZero network?
DoubleZero is a high-performance global network purpose-built for distributed systems. On the public internet, packets take multiple hops before arriving at their destination. With DoubleZero, they move along the most direct path from point A to point B.
Powered by independent contributors supplying available bandwidth, the DoubleZero network delivers direct, low-latency routing to boost validator performance enabling faster, fairer participation from anywhere in the world.
Instead of competing with regular traffic, blockchain nodes communicate over dedicated, optimized pathways that provide:
- Lower latency and jitter;
- Higher throughput and bandwidth;
- Better reliability under peak traffic.
#How does the DoubleZero network work?
DoubleZero operates as a decentralized mesh network built from contributions by various infrastructure providers worldwide. These contributors supply fiber optic links and processing resources to create a network that enhances connectivity.
Each contributor must provide dedicated bandwidth between two endpoints and operate compatible devices called DoubleZero Devices (DZDs) at both ends. These devices run DoubleZero software to manage tasks like multicast communication and user lookups.
The network is interconnected at DoubleZero Exchanges (DZXs) points located in major cities, where different contributor links connect. Contributors link their fibers to these exchanges to integrate into the broader network.
Now, these underutilized fiber links are integrated into a synchronized network that enhances bandwidth, reduces latency, and minimizes jitter, forming the foundation of DoubleZero’s global mainnet-beta network with over 70 links.
Together, these elements create a reliable and efficient network for blockchain and other distributed systems, providing consistent bandwidth and low-latency routing.
You can find detailed explanations of how DoubleZero works in their official documentation.
#Cherry Servers as a DoubleZero contributor
As one of DoubleZero’s contributors, Cherry Servers will operate DoubleZero Device hardware (DZD) across our European locations — data centers in Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Lithuania, and Stockholm. This means validators, RPC providers, and dApp developers hosted on Cherry Servers will gain prioritized access to DoubleZero’s low-latency network.
For customers already running Solana validators, staking infrastructure, or latency-sensitive blockchain services on Cherry Servers, this translates into:
- Faster block propagation and transaction validation;
- More resilient RPC connections during high-load periods;
- Secure and stable performance at the physical network layer.
#Meeting the demands of blockchain ecosystems
Validators, RPC providers, and Web3 developers shouldn’t have to run mission-critical infrastructure on a network layer that wasn’t built for them. By joining DoubleZero, Cherry Servers is helping to build the dedicated infrastructure blockchain networks truly need — one designed to match the performance of next-generation protocols.
As the network expands globally, Cherry Servers is committed to supporting its growth and ensuring our customers have direct access to the fastest, most reliable blockchain connectivity available.
