#What Is Identity Verification?

Identity verification allows us to ensure that the information provided in identity forms and documents is accurate. The process is important in maximizing safeguards against the use of any stolen credit or debit card information.

Identity verification is a one time process and will not be requested again once the process has been successfully completed.

#Why Do I Need to Verify My Identity?

Identity verification is required by our payment processors in order to carry out credit or debit card operations for Cherry Servers services.

Identity verification is mandatory for clients that wish to set up automatic payments and top-ups for Cherry Servers fixed-term billing and auto-recharge services.

#How to Verify My Identity

We have partnered with IDenfy for identity verification.

To begin the process, please click your profile icon in the top right-hand corner of the client portal and select the team you would like to complete verification for.

From the menu on the left side, select “Identity verification”.

Click the button labeled “Verify” to begin the process, and follow the instructions provided by Idenfy.

For a smooth process, please ensure that you have the following ready:
- Your identity document
  - Passport
  - ID card
- A working camera

It is recommended that you perform the process using a mobile phone for best results. A QR code will be provided to get started.
